Buying Process
Names.co.nz offers two methods of purchase, being Buy Now and Make Offer.
Buy Now.
Under the Buy Now function you are able to select a domain name and make the purchase instantly with a Credit Card. You will be contacted shortly after to sign a Change of Name Holder agreement.
Make Offer.
Under the Make Offer function you are required to enter into negotiations for the domain name, with Names.co.nz acting as the intermediary agent. Upon the successful conclusion of negotiations, you will be required to submit your full details, make payment and sign a Change of Name Holder agreement.
Once payment has been received for the domain name, Names.co.nz will endeavour to complete the transfer of ownership within five (5) working days.
Names.co.nz preferred supplier for handling change of name ownership is domains4less. As a buyer, you will be required to open a free account with them.
All prices are in New Zealand dollars and exclude GST. A Tax Invoice will be issued to all purchasers, on behalf of On Company Ltd.
Escrow.
For large sale transactions we do offer the option of using a third party Escrow service. We suggest the services of SafeTrader. The buyer has to be New Zealand based to utilise this service and has a maximum service fee of $24.95 including GST.
